  • In the Legal Partnership Surveys conducted by the Australian Financial Review and The Australian, Lander & Rogers was ranked in the top 10 of all Australian law firms surveyed in terms of gender equity. 32% of partner positions at Lander & Rogers are held by women. (Australian Financial Review and The Australian 2011 and 2010 Legal Partnership Surveys.)

  • Lander & Rogers is an equal opportunity employer. We report annually to the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace (EOWA) Agency and comply with the requirements of the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Act 1999 (Cth). In 2006, the EOWA assessed that Lander & Rogers complied with the Act and waived reporting requirements for the firm for two years. In 2009 we were again waived from reporting for a further two years. The current ratio of male to female lawyers in our firm is 9:11, a ratio which we understand to be in excess of industry standards. 

  • We are a signatory of the National Pro Bono Resource Centre's Aspirational Target. During the 2010/2011 financial year, an average of 67% of our lawyers participated in our pro bono program, recording around 3,600 hours of pro bono work.
