In this edition of Superannuation Alert: The House of Representatives Standing Committee on Economics recommended that Schedule 3 of the Tax Laws Amendment (2011 Measures No 8) Bill containing the phoenix company provisions be removed. On 14 November, the Federal Government released its forward work program. The program sets out the timetable for current and proposed consultation on tax and superannuation measures. On 15 November, APRA published a letter sent to RSE licensees on its expectations regarding arrangements between RSE licensees and "fund promoters" (being persons conducting activities for RSE licensees concerning "product design and/or marketing services"). > READ SUPERANNUATION ALERT - 23.11.11
