Personal interests

Jane helps her clients to resolve issues relating to children and the division of property and assets, following the breakdown of a marriage or de facto (including same-sex) relationship. Depending on the circumstances, this can involve negotiation/mediation or litigation.

Jane advises clients in Australia and overseas about separation and prenuptial / cohabitation agreements. She has conducted litigation in Victoria and interstate relating to financial and children’s issues, including relocation.

Jane's areas of expertise include:
  • children's matters, including residence and contact;
  • child support, including child support agreements;
  • property settlements;
  • spousal maintenance;
  • injunctions;
  • domestic violence/restraining orders;
  • divorce;
  • cohabitation/relationship and prenuptial agreements; and
  • domestic violence.
Jane was admitted to practice in 1993 and joined Lander & Rogers in 2003.

Accredited Specialist in Family Law

  • Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia.
  • The Family Law Section of the Law Institute of Victoria.
  • Former chair of the LIV Education Committee – Family Law Section.
