Maria's extensive insolvency experience has seen her advise corporations, liquidators, administrators and trustees in bankruptcy in areas of insolvency and administration. This includes preferences and uncommercial transaction claims, claims against directors for insolvent trading, detection and recovery of assets, and the general conduct of an insolvency administration. Maria also acts for creditors in the recovery of debts owed by individuals and/or corporations.

Maria's commercial litigation experience includes a range of areas, including the Competition and Consumer Act (formerly the Trade Practices Act), contracts, franchising and real estate. 

Maria's areas of expertise include:
