Personal interests

Mark has extensive experience in employment and industrial law. He has participated in numerous major cases before the Australian Industrial Relations Commission, Fair Work Australia and in many other jurisdictions.

Mark has been involved in policy formation at high levels, as well as discussion and liaison with federal and state governments at the ministerial and departmental level.  He has been involved in preparing major submissions to governments, tribunals and parliaments including attendances before Senate Committees. 

Mark's areas of expertise include:

  • industrial relations & employment law;
  • occupational health and safety;
  • discrimination law;
  • employment and independent contractor agreements;
  • awards and agreements;
  • interpretation of industrial instruments;
  • litigation;
  • workplace policy advice;
  • change strategy;
  • trading hours issues; and
  • registered organisation matters.  

Mark was admitted to practice in 1979 and joined Lander & Rogers in 1999.
