Personal interests

Rachael deals closely with WorkSafe Victoria, a number of self-insurers, claims agents and employers providing advice on liability under the Accident Compensation Act and common law entitlements.  She has experience in all aspects of litigation of worker's compensation matters and regularly appears in the Magistrates and County Courts as well as attending country circuits such as Hamilton, Warrnambool and Geelong.

Rachael is recognised in the 2013 and 2012 editions of Best Lawyers (Australia) for her expertise in Occupational Health & Safety law.

Rachael's areas of expertise include:

  • accident compensation litigation;
  • changes to the Accident Compensation Act; and
  • providing advice on new common law matters.

Rachael joined Lander & Rogers in 2000 and was admitted to practice in 2001.
