Peter has extensive experience acting for public and private institutions on commercial property transactions and development projects. Peter's expertise extends to all aspects of property law and a wide-ranging clientele, including institutional landlords, major Australian retailers, supermarkets and banks, the Queensland Government (including a number of key Government Owned Corporations) and various Queensland Local Authorities.

Peter jointly leads the Lander & Rogers national Real Estate & Projects group. Peter is a real estate specialist who advises a broad range of Australian and international companies, funds, retailers, property developers and affordable housing associations. Peter's experience spans the commercial, industrial, office, retail and residential sectors.

Peter has more than 30 years of experience (including eight years overseas) in domestic and cross border corporate advisory and investment transactions, including public and private mergers and acquisitions (M&A), as well as private equity and joint venture arrangements.

Philip is a specialist competition law and consumer law adviser. Having practised in Australia, the UK and the European Union and advises national and global corporates and private equity clients on Australian and global merger clearance filings. Philip also advises on complex competition, consumer and regulatory investigations, inquiries and enforcement proceedings.

Special Counsel

Pru is highly experienced in defending personal injury and liability claims. She is a skilled negotiator, committed to the speedy resolution of claims for her clients. Pru specialises in workplace and transport accidents and has experience in dependency claims, catastrophic injuries, indemnity issues and claims involving multi-party litigation. Pru regularly advises clients on liability, quantum and policy coverage issues.

Senior Associate

Prue has worked exclusively in family and relationship law since her admission to the legal profession in 2018. She has a particular interest in complex parenting and property matters, particularly those involving Binding Financial Agreements and child support matters.

Rachael Kennedy

Rachael is a partner in the Compensation Law group and is the Statutory Benefits Group Head. Rachael deals closely with WorkSafe Victoria, self-insurers, claims agents and employers.

Rachel assists clients with real estate development, leasing, sales and purchases.

Rachel is a lawyer in the Sydney office of Lander & Rogers' family and relationship law team. She is passionate about family related issues and has worked in family law since her admission as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 2018. During her five years of practice in Hong Kong, Rachel managed a range of family law matters, including divorce, financial disputes, and children's matters, many of which involved cross-border or international elements. Rachel was admitted to practice in NSW in 2025 and joined Lander & Rogers in the same year.

Ralph is an experienced litigator, specialising in insurance law and property, building and construction related disputes. He has acted for insurers, advising on complex coverage issues and pursuing subrogated recoveries concerning all types of construction and property related insurance, including professional indemnity, annual design and construct, project design and construction, contract works and ISR.

Renata is an experienced defendant litigator who has a particular focus on civil litigation involving complex and sensitive claims. She has worked with both public sector and private clients across a range of industries and has acted for organisations and their insurers.

Special Counsel

Rhiannon holds a Master of Applied (Law Family Law) and is an Accredited Family Law Specialist. She has practised exclusively in family and relationship law since her admission to practice in 2013.

Rob is a senior associate in Lander & Rogers' Real Estate & Projects team. He advises on a broad range of real estate matters, including sales, acquisitions, developments, subdivisions and leasing transactions, and has acted for many of Australia's leading corporate, institutional and private real estate developers and investors.

Robert is a highly experienced technology and regulatory lawyer and heads the firm's Technology and Digital practice. He works with private and public sector organisations in relation to complex technology procurement projects and the provision and use of digital services.

Rohan is a highly regarded construction lawyer and a market-leading legal innovator, with over 12 years of experience advising tier 1 construction and infrastructure companies on all project matters including tendering, contract negotiation, project-in-delivery issue resolution and disputes. As an innovator of legal technology, Rohan has helped ASX 100 companies achieve multi-million dollar annual returns on investment through the delivery and scaling of automated contract solutions.

Sally jointly leads our Workplace Relations & Safety group. Sally has extensive experience working with clients in the public and private sector, in the areas of employment law, industrial relations, safety and administrative law. She prides herself on understanding the business of her clients to ensure she provides a practical and solutions-focussed approach.

Samantha Downes

Samantha has been practising as an insurance law specialist since 1993. She is experienced in all areas of general insurance litigation including personal injury, public and products liability, property damage and professional indemnity. She has also represented public and private sector clients in coronial inquests, which often attract media interest and invariably require sensitive management.
