Lander & Rogers continues senior appointments

Law firm Lander & Rogers has made two new senior appointments to its Melbourne office, underscoring the firm's continuing programme of expansion.

Former Rennick & Gaynor partner, David Gillard, has joined the Lander & Rogers' Family Law group as special counsel. David is an accredited Specialist in Family Law and acts as legal adviser to a number of voluntary and charitable bodies in Victoria. He has broad experience within the family law jurisdiction with particular expertise in complex commercial family law matters, third party litigation and overseas cross-jurisdictional cases.

Simon Ellis has joined the firm's Insurance Law & Litigation practice as a senior associate. Simon, who recently returned to Australia after spending 3.5 years with a major insurance law firm in London, has extensive experience in professional indemnity insurance, having acted in claims brought against solicitors, barristers and brokers. Simon also has broad commercial litigation expertise, in particular involving claims in the financial services and aviation sectors.
