Lander & Rogers is strengthening its Workplace Relations & Safety practice with the appointment of a dedicated health, safety and environment lead.

Cameron Hannebery, an experienced safety lawyer, has joined the firm as a Special Counsel, based in Melbourne. He joins the firm from Telstra where he was Legal Counsel for nine years, having previously been at Deacons (now Norton Rose Fulbright).

Daniel Proietto, Lander & Rogers partner and national practice group leader for Workplace Relations & Safety, said, "We are delighted to welcome Cameron to the team as a senior lawyer with dedicated experience in the health, safety, and environment law.

"As well as supporting our existing clients with their safety needs, Cameron will build a strong practice with clients in both the Federal and various State jurisdictions".

Lander & Rogers' Workplace Relations & Safety practice has seen substantial growth in recent years. In November 2017, the team doubled the size of its Sydney-based team, including the appointments of partners Tony Woods and Sally Moten.
