Eleanor has broad experience in insurance and commercial litigation and has acted for Australian and overseas insurers and commercial clients on a range of coverage and litigation matters. Eleanor has specific experience in professional indemnity matters, acting for lawyers, accountants, construction and other professionals in a range of diverse claims. Eleanor also has strong experience in class actions, including several bushfire matters and the Newcrest shareholder action.
Prior to joining Lander & Rogers Eleanor worked at a Melbourne law firm where she gained a breadth of experience in both commercial and insurance litigation, including trade practices claims, contractual disputes, public liability matters on behalf of self-insured clients and professional indemnity claims against legal practitioners.
Eleanor's areas of expertise include:
- professional indemnity;
- class actions;
- director and officer liability; and
- trade practices disputes.
Eleanor joined Lander & Rogers in October 2013.
