She advises local, multi-national and London-market insurers in D&O matters, a broad range of professional indemnity and management liability claims, as well as financial institutions claims. She is regularly instructed by private and public sector employers to assist in complex industrial, discrimination and general employment matters. Clients appreciate her ability to apply her deep knowledge of the law in this area to achieve excellent commercial outcomes.

Karen has broad experience in property law. She acts primarily for landlords and tenants in a range of commercial and leasing matters in various jurisdictions in Australia. Her previous legal experience in Northern Ireland encompassed mostly general conveyancing and probate, civil claims and employment law.

She has a highly respected reputation in the legal community as a commercially savvy and deeply client-focused family lawyer.

Kate is an experienced commercial property lawyer with a background in both the Australian and UK markets. Kate has spent over 13 years assisting landlords, tenants, developers, investors, financiers, business operators and government entities with a wide variety of complex real estate matters.

Kate is a Partner who specialises in family law and has an interest in helping families navigate the complexities of separation. Kate takes a commercial approach to her matters, while appreciating that an effective advocate understands the nuances of the personal relationships involved.

Kate is a lawyer practising in our Family & Relationship Law group. She works closely with clients and other members of our team across a range of complex parenting and property matters involving divorce, high conflict parenting arrangements, binding financial agreements and spousal maintenance issues.

Kate is a senior associate in the Family and Relationship Law team. Prior to joining Lander & Rogers, Kate practised exclusively in the family law jurisdiction at another national mid-tier law firm in Melbourne. She also worked as a judge's associate in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia before her admission to legal practice in December 2018.

National Director - Innovation & Communication

Kate manages the innovation and communication portfolios for the Family & Relationship Law team at Lander & Rogers. She is responsible for pioneering process improvements, and collaborates with established and emerging technology providers as well as internal designers to streamline the firm's delivery of family law services. She is passionate about delivering an exceptional client experience to the team's expansive private client base, a value that remains at the forefront of all her innovation initiatives.

Kate applies her unique understanding of the nuances of the court system when advising her clients.

Kathleen has practised exclusively in personal injury and insurance litigation. She is experienced in matters involving occupiers’ liability, statutory recovery actions, workers’ compensation, product and public liability as well as asbestos and dust disease claims. Kathleen also has experience acting in high profile and sensitive personal injury matters, including institutional and sexual abuse claims requiring careful strategic management.
