Partner & Practice Group Leader

David leads our corporate practice. David is a leading Australian corporate lawyer with over 30 years' experience in advising both Australian and international clients on a range of corporate and securities law matters including mergers and acquisitions (public and private), equity capital markets transactions (including IPOs and capital raisings), strategic structuring and foreign investment approvals. David has a particular expertise in cross-border capital markets transactions between Australia and the US.

David is a dual qualified (NSW and England & Wales) corporate lawyer with a strong track record advising on sophisticated corporate transactions, spanning equity capital markets, public and private M&A, and complex commercial arrangements in Australia and offshore.

David is a Melbourne based partner in our Compensation Law group and is our relationship partner for WorkSafe Victoria. David practises in the area of work-related personal injury claims in both common law and statutory benefit disputes.

Deanna is dedicated to servicing corporate clients with their strategic, M&A, governance and compliance needs. Clients appreciate her ability to get to the point, find common ground between parties and deliver a solution, a skill she honed during her years of experience leading an in-house legal team. Deanna also leads our Japan client group and works seamlessly with foreign investors navigating their acquisition and establishment activities in Australia.

Special Counsel

Dearne specialises in insurance law with a core focus on financial lines, building and construction-related claims. She has extensive experience providing coverage advice and as defence counsel in litigated and non-litigated disputes and advising insurers on subrogated recovery actions.

Partner & Head of International

Derek leads our firm's international practice, driving our strategy to be the independent Australian firm of choice in our key overseas markets: US, UK, Japan, China, Singapore and Malaysia. He also co-ordinates our five commercial groups to ensure they remain constantly client focussed and working collaboratively as a seamless commercial offering for both Australian and international clients.

Dexter is a Senior Associate in Lander & Rogers' Insurance Law & Litigation group. Dexter specialises in building and construction disputes.

Diane leads the Victorian self-insurer practice. She is a trusted advisor to her clients. She has extensive legal experience, good business judgment and expertise in handling complex issues and regulatory requirements.

Dina is a commercial disputes lawyer with a focus on corporate disputes, securities litigation and enforcement and insolvency. Dina takes a strategic and pragmatic approach to advising her clients with the view of resolving their disputes in an efficient and commercial way.

Edward is a corporate and commercial lawyer who advises across the IT, telecommunications, energy, financial services, and retail and supply chain sectors. Elaine is an Accredited Specialist in Family Law and Special Counsel in the Family & Relationship Law team. She brings a pragmatic, compassionate and strategic approach to guiding clients through separation and divorce.

Eleanor is an Accredited Specialist in Family Law, and practises exclusively in family & relationship law. Eleanor assists clients with property settlements, spousal maintenance, parenting matters, financial agreements, child support, and international family law matters. She is one of only a small number of Cantonese and Mandarin speaking family lawyers in New South Wales who have attained the accredited specialisation in family law.

Eleanor has broad experience in insurance litigation and has acted for Australian and overseas insurers and commercial clients on a range of coverage and litigation matters. Eleanor's specific experience is in professional indemnity matters, directors' claims and class actions.

Eleni advises on statutory benefits, serious injury and common law damages matters. She has extensive experience in conducting personal injuries litigation for both plaintiff and defendant firms. Her previous experience as a senior legal manager at an insurance agent provides her with a unique insight into claims management.

Elif is an experienced defendant insurance lawyer specialising in personal injury litigation with a focus on public, recovery and product liability claims (dust and toxic torts). She has experience defending both public and private sector clients on a broad range of legal issues.
