Melbourne application process

Open to graduates under the Law Institute of Victoria priority offer system, Lander & Rogers' graduate positions are usually filled by students who have completed the firm's seasonal clerkship program.

If additional opportunities arise for graduates who have not completed a seasonal clerkship with Lander & Rogers, further information will be available on this page.

Eligible students are encouraged to apply at the conclusion of the clerkship program. The application process allows you to provide an updated CV that incorporates experience obtained during your clerkship, along with your latest academic transcript and other relevant skills and experience.

Sydney and Brisbane application process

Step 1: Application form

Please submit your resume, cover letter and academic transcript and complete the application form.

Step 2: Graduate job-focused assessment and psychometric testing

If successful, you will be asked to complete a job-focused assessment and psychometric testing to assist the talent team in understanding you through the exploration of your strengths and preferences.

This step provides the opportunity to learn more about the firm and life at Lander & Rogers. Applicants will receive personalised feedback on completion of the assessment.

Step 3: Meet the team

Meet with senior members of the firm in an interview to discuss what it means to work as a lawyer at Lander & Rogers, and how the program can help you to accelerate your legal career.

Application eligibility

The graduate program is open to students studying a relevant law degree who are either in their final year or have completed a degree within the past 12 months.

Students must have full working rights through Australian/New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency.

We are unable to consider candidates who have been admitted prior to commencing with us as a graduate.
