Chief Executive Partner
Genevieve is the Chief Executive Partner of Lander & Rogers.
Prior to her role as Chief Executive Partner, Genevieve was the practice group leader of our highly successful Compensation Law team in Melbourne. Genevieve has practised exclusively in the areas of WorkCover, employers’ liability insurance and common law damages representing WorkSafe Victoria and self-insurers. She has provided extensive advice in all aspects of compensation law and has been active in litigation at the Magistrates, County and Supreme Courts. Genevieve has particular expertise in the area of self-insurers and has acted for our self-insurer clients on a continuous basis from the introduction of the Accident Compensation Act in August 1985.
As the relationship partner to WorkSafe Victoria between 2005-2018, Genevieve was actively involved in strategic working groups, scheme significant cases and on-going client liaison.
She has a keen interest in building a dynamic and successful team using insights from positive psychology and applying a strengths-based approach. This has made Genevieve's team a standout in its field and she has completed numerous papers, articles and presentations on the subject. The approach has also attracted great interest from other employers and legal firms and was featured in an Australian Financial Review article on the subject ("Seniority Gives Way to Strengths", AFR, 4 December 2009).
Genevieve is recognised in the Melbourne 2015 edition of Doyle's Guide as a Preeminent WorkSafe & Workers Compensation Lawyer.
