Sara advises clients on a full range of employment related matters, including workplace investigations, agreement and award interpretation and unfair dismissal claims. She also works with our Corporate team on due diligence projects, advising on employment related issues.
Sara is respected by her clients for her sensitive and effective approach to workplace investigations involving bullying, sexual harassment or other workplace misconduct.
Sara has experience in Fair Work Commission conciliations, the Federal Court and the Chief Industrial Magistrate Court. She has negotiated positive outcomes in discrimination and equal opportunity matters, unfair dismissal claims general protections and contract claims for public and private clients.
Sara's experience includes:
- acting for a NSW government agency on an industrial dispute involving a multi-million dollar claim for unpaid allowances
- acting for a NSW government agency on industrial matters for a major infrastructure project
- acting for a client in the financial sector on an ongoing basis — assisting with a range of employment related issues, including best practice for the management of parental leave, employee performance and redundancies
Sara joined Lander & Rogers in November 2011 and was admitted to practice in 2013.
