Lander & Rogers has been shortlisted for five awards in the prestigious Financial Times Innovative Lawyers Asia Pacific 2024 awards.

The firm is a finalist in the following categories:

  • Most innovative law firm in Asia Pacific (HQ'd in Asia Pacific)
  • Intrapreneur for initiatives led by the firm's Chief Executive Partner Genevieve Collins to address the growing influence of AI in the law, raise the bar for gender balance in law firms, and lead by example through sustainable business practices
  • Innovation in digital tools in recognition of DocuAnalyser AI, an AI-driven document-splitting platform developed by iHub by Lander & Rogers and the firm's compensation law practice in collaboration with startup Halisok, to reduce manual processing of large and complex data sets in relation to compensation law claims
  • Innovation in people and skills in recognition of the AI clinical placement program run in partnership with Monash University, in which final-year Monash law students work alongside Lander & Rogers' legal and tech experts to engage in hands-on testing of use cases against AI models, new applications and platforms
  • Innovation in responsible business for our ongoing efforts to minimise our environmental footprint and advance our net-zero goal, as well as for supporting organisations fighting for a safe climate, and protecting the rights of communities through strategic litigation.

Firms and in-house legal teams across the Asia-Pacific region are shortlisted for the FT Innovative Lawyers awards following a rigorous submission, research and interview process spanning a number of months.

Winners will be announced in Hong Kong on 16 May.
