Construction and engineering

We're a national team of construction lawyers with more than 50 years of experience in commercial, residential, engineering and infrastructure projects. Our lawyers are approachable, collaborative and adaptable problem solvers who focus on mitigating risk.

We provide whole-of-life project advice, grounded in considerable front and back-end knowledge, and extensive experience dealing with all aspects of insurance. We understand that getting the best outcome for our clients requires boldness, inventiveness, sound strategy, and a focus on dispute avoidance.

Our lawyers are fully immersed in the building and construction industry and many of us occupy leadership positions in peak bodies. We work with industry stakeholders to promote meaningful reform – from the 'gender on the tender' initiative, through to family friendly working hours and improved site safety.

We treat litigation as a last resort, but we're fully prepared if it does eventuate. Our team has the expertise to litigate even the largest and most complex construction disputes, however we always scale our services to match the scope and intensity of the matter.
