By building meaningful relationships within our community, we help to empower people experiencing disadvantage and exclusion.
Persistent disadvantage limits people's potential and their ability to engage with the community. This in turn causes social exclusion and lack of opportunity. Establishing meaningful connections with people experiencing disadvantage can have a profound impact on how they perceive themselves and their potential.
Our community engagement seeks to:
- improve social inclusion for young people and refugees
- create opportunities to empower people and communities
We reach out through mentoring, volunteering and our firm's work experience program and partner with organisations who share our passion and commitment to forging real social change.
Work experience and mentoring
Our targeted work experience program for secondary and tertiary students allows young people to develop confidence in their own capabilities and, with our support, begin to shape positive future pathways.
South Sudanese Business Response
We are creating workplace opportunities and connection to employment pathways together with our clients and networks to allow young South Sudanese people to realise their potential.
In 2019 our people volunteered more than 720 hours, and raised more than $127,000, for our nominated charities.
