Lander & Rogers is broadening its services to clients in 2020 with the launch of a dedicated consulting function for general counsel and in-house lawyers.

The firm has today appointed executive coach and expert in leadership and performance Anthony Kearns as its Chief Client Experience Officer and Practice Group Leader - Consulting. Anthony works with the General Counsel of large organisations to enhance the way their in-house legal teams operate, and he will lead Lander & Rogers' new consulting function as well as head up the firm's Client Experience offering. He draws on extensive experience across organisational development, leadership development, management consulting, risk management and legal services.

Formerly a lawyer, Anthony has held senior executive roles in a number of global organisations. He is an alum of Stanford University's Hasso Plattner Institute of Design and holds a Master of Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Melbourne.

"In today's shifting business and regulatory environment, the challenges faced by our clients are often felt most keenly by their general counsel and in-house lawyers," said Genevieve Collins, Chief Executive Partner at Lander & Rogers.

"I'm thrilled that we are now able to support our clients in a significant new capacity, by providing them with strategic advice on how their in-house legal function can quickly respond to change and best meet the needs of their business."

"A lot of firms talk about their commitment to clients, but Lander & Rogers really does place exceptional client service at its heart," said Anthony. "The work of in-house legal teams has never been more important to organisations and I look forward to helping the lawyers within our clients enhance their effectiveness, impact and value."

Lander & Rogers continues to invest in forward-thinking solutions to address the changing demands of the worlds of law and business. 2019 saw the launch of iHub, the firm's standalone business function dedicated to innovation, as well as first-of-their kind LawTech Hubs in Melbourne and Sydney which advance innovation in the legal industry by fostering collaboration between the firm's lawyers, its clients and startups.
