Lander & Rogers strengthens Brisbane disputes practice with appointment of Kelly Coulston

Lander & Rogers is pleased to announce the appointment of Kelly Coulston as a Partner in its Brisbane Commercial Disputes practice, effective 2 March 2026.

Kelly joins the firm from the Brisbane office of HSF Kramer and brings significant experience in complex commercial litigation, class actions, infrastructure disputes, corporate insolvency and investigations. She has acted in major proceedings in the Supreme Courts of Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria and the Federal Court of Australia, and has experience in arbitration, adjudication, mediation and expert determination.

Kelly advises clients across energy and infrastructure, mining and resources, financial services, government, retail and real estate. Her practice includes defending complex class actions concerning continuous disclosure, negligence and consumer claims, advising on regulatory investigations, supporting clients with strategic claims management, and resolving disputes arising from large-scale infrastructure projects.

She has also undertaken multiple secondments as Senior Legal Counsel to an ASX-listed organisation, managing a range of disputes and working closely with senior project, commercial and operational leaders, as well as the Group General Counsel.

Kelly holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Queensland University of Technology, a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law and an Advanced Certificate in Insolvency from the Australian Restructuring Insolvency & Turnaround Association. She is admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia.
