Announcing ten new partners and 34 senior lawyer promotions

Law firm Lander & Rogers has elevated 45 senior lawyers in its 2026 promotions round.

Effective 1 July 2026, the firm welcomes ten new partners, 13 special counsel and 22 senior associates across its Insurance Law & Litigation, Family & Relationship Law, Corporate, Workplace Relations & Safety, Commercial Disputes, Compensation Law, and Real Estate & Projects practices.

The firm's new partners are Insurance Law & Litigation experts Chris Philactides, Eliza Elliot, Jessica O'Brien, Julie Shooter and Samuel Sumaru; Family & Relationship Law specialists Ashley Taylor, Katalin Lello and Shai Sommer; Compensation Law expert Adele Moloney, and Workplace Relations & Safety expert Nicholas West-Foy.

The promotions put a spotlight on the firm's Insurance Law & Litigation practice, highlighting the calibre of experts in Medical Negligence & Health Law, Financial Lines, and Public Liability, as well as the firm's Family & Relationship Law practice which continues to attract both national and international private clients.

Chief Executive Partner Daniel Proietto said the firm's 2026 promotions round reflects another year of strong momentum and continued investment across the business.

Lander & Rogers also celebrated 16 promotions across its business services and practice group support functions, with a focus on technology and client experience, further strengthening the delivery and impact of client services.

The promotions announcement follows a number of senior hires in the last 12 months, with the firm recently joined by Digital Economy partner Margaret Gigliotti; Corporate partner Louise Parry; Competition Law partner Philip Aitken; Commercial Disputes partners Helen Sims and Kelly Coulston; Workplace Relations and Safety partners Jennifer Wyborn and Wendy Fauvel, and Finance partner Simon Reid.

These new additions spanning four national offices, including the opening of a new office in Canberra on 1 July last year, form part of the firm's growth story as it continues to invest in its people, strengthen its expertise, and expand its offering nationally.
