We are thrilled to have been named Insurance Team of the Year at the 2020 Lawyers Weekly Australian Law Awards.
The award is valuable recognition of the work of our insurance law and litigation group, which has been advising Australian and international insurers for more than 60 years and has built a reputation as one of the largest and most respected insurance law practices in Australia.
In our firm's largest ever promotions round in July 2020, we elevated two partners, three special counsel and six senior associates within our insurance group. Nine of our 11 promotees are women.
We're very proud that our team of more than 80 lawyers has been recognised as leaders in our field, and we are grateful to our clients for their ongoing support and collaboration.
In the Lawyers Weekly Australian Law Awards, Lander & Rogers was also named a finalist for Property Team of the Year, Workplace Relations & Employment Team of the Year and Pro Bono Program of the Year. Our team was strongly represented across the individual categories with Genevieve Collins (Managing Partner of the Year), Michelle Grossmann (Innovator of the Year - Individual), Lily Nguyen (Partner of the Year) and Scott Traeger (Special Counsel of the Year) all named finalists.
