Matthew Doyle

Senior Associate

Matthew practises exclusively in family and relationship law, and has done so since his admission to the legal profession.

Matthew represents clients across a broad spectrum of matters, including complex property matters, parenting matters (including those that involve allegations of neglect, sexual abuse and psychological harm), applications for spousal maintenance, child support issues, family violence and financial agreements.

Matthew has a particular interest in complex property matters involving businesses and complex assets structures.

Matthew is strategic and measured in his approach to solving his clients' problems. His goal is to assist his clients in reaching pragmatic and commercially sensible outcomes at the earliest opportunity, whilst also advocating passionately for their needs. If litigation is required, Matthew is a determined and experienced litigator.

Matthew has held positions as board member of the Family Law Practitioners Association and the Family Law Pathways Network. He was featured in the "Ones to Watch" list in the 2023, 2024 and 2025 editions of the Best Lawyers in Australia and was named a Family Law Rising Star in the 2023 and 2024 editions of Doyle's Guide.
