Experience
Prior to being admitted as a lawyer, Taylor worked as Legal Associate to the Honourable Justice Kent in the Appeal Division of the Family Court of Australia and Legal Associate to the Honourable Justice Hogan of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 1). Her experience in highly litigious matters which proceeded to trial and appeal gave Taylor appreciation for the impact prolonged court proceedings have on parties and children.

Taylor's career highlights include:
- obtaining an order from the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia allowing Taylor's client to relocate the residence of the child interstate where the other parent opposed the relocation
- obtaining a recovery order from the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia in circumstances where the young child was unilaterally removed by one parent.
