Theresa is a Senior Associate in our Family & Relationship Law team. She has practiced exclusively in family law since her admission in 2016.

• complex property matters, including asset pools with multiple corporate and trust structures for high net-worth clients and their families
• parenting matters, including negotiating appropriate parenting arrangements following separation as well as complex cases involving parental alienation, interstate and overseas relocations and allegations of risk
• asset protection and binding financial agreements for couples who are married or in a de facto relationship (or in contemplation of same)

Theresa's career highlights include:

• successfully obtaining a recovery order from the court, when a client's child was unilaterally moved interstate from the family home in Victoria by the other parent
• successfully obtaining orders for a parent to have sole parental responsibility for their children to ensure they were able to make all future significant decisions for the children
• successfully defending an international relocation application, in circumstances where there was a strong prospect of relocation being successful against her client
• successfully achieving a costs order for a client, following the court making final property orders in considerable favour of the client.
